The Glass Catfish (Kryptopterus vitreolus) is a fascinating and unique freshwater species native to the rivers and streams of Southeast Asia, particularly in Thailand, Laos, and Vietnam. Known for its almost transparent body, the Glass Catfish is often referred to as the ‘Ghost Catfish’ due to its see-through appearance, which allows you to observe its internal organs and skeletal structure.
