Our Story

Hi there

We’re Amelia and Nathan, the founders of FISH2U – your go-to destination for tropical freshwater fish in New Zealand.

As passionate aquarists (fishkeepers) based in Kaiapoi, North Canterbury, we love discovering unique and hard-to-find tropical fish. But we were tired of having to drive to the other side of the city to get the fish we wanted. So, we decided to solve that problem – and that’s how FISH2U was born!

We started out by setting up our own tanks (Mum and Dad you should have said yes to the cat!), researching the best methods for safely transporting fish, and sourcing rare and exotic species. Now, we bring that same passion to you – offering high-quality freshwater fish, delivered anywhere in New Zealand.. 

Delivery Made Easy

  • If you’re in the greater Christchurch region (between Rolleston and Amberley), we can deliver your fish to your door.
  • For the rest of New Zealand, we use a trusted courier service to ensure your fish arrive safely.
